Okay...It's Only Two Days Away

We went to hospital to see Grace today. We thought she was going to be able to come home, but the doctor thought it best for her to stay the duration of the weekend. She's off oxygen and only her heart rhythm is being monitored. Grace aspirated merconium in her birthmother's womb, which caused irritants to develop in her lungs. She had some trouble breathing so she's been in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) since birth. She has been getting better and better with each passing day. She is so strong and is very alert. She's one week old today. Because she had one episode of shallow breathing last night the doctor said Grace should remain in the hospital. The good news is she is finishing a whole bottle and even eating a half of a second bottle now. She looks so beautiful and is getting stronger and stronger everyday. We feel so blessed that God has entrusted this little angel to us. It is a miracle how God brought her to us. It's because of his amazing GRACE. Now the outlook for her coming home is Monday. Tomorrow we will go see her again. The time flies so quickly when we're there. We were there four hours today and it only felt like an hour or so. It's harder and harder to leave her. Both Alliah and I cry. But!!! Monday will come and our sweet baby girl will leave with a clean bill of health and will be in our arms forever. Y
